W. P. Amb. Ruhit Sumon of Moyurpongkhi Foundation is working in the service of humanity

Bangladesh’s international youth organizer Md Sumon Rahman (Ruhit Sumon) Has been doing social work since childhood before about sixteen years.

Ruhit Sumon, Chairman of the Moyurpongkhi Foundation(gov: reg: no: dho-09587) and the Moyurpongkhi Family, has been working at home and abroad to protect world peace, healthcare and human rights, sustainable development and the environment through social services.

Ruhit Sumon is conducting various activities in the epidemic corona situation through his established organization “Moyurpongkhi”.

During the outbreak of corona, the Moyurpongkhi organization undertook various programs including corona prevention and remedial training and workshops, coordination of volunteers, distribution of masks, sanitizers, soaps, awareness leaflets, food and iftar items among the helpless, destitute and uprooted.

The ‘Global Peace Award’ at the World Youth Peace Conference held in the Maldives in recent years, the ‘International Youth Award’ in India, in Dubai.

Sumon has been awarded the “International School Award” and the “International Education Award” in Thailand. Besides, he has received many national and international awards and honors from home and abroad.

By the way, Sumon is teaching about a hundred disadvantaged children and women without pay. He has established Moyurpongkhi Adarshalipi School, Moyurpongkhi Quran Education Asar, Moyurpongkhi Nari Shiksha Kendra, Moyurpongkhi Creative Library, Moyurpongkhi Youth and Sports Council and many other charitable organizations.

Moyurpongkhi Foundation, established in 2008, is working for the welfare of the neglected, poor people of the society, basic rights including education of disadvantaged children and women and youth welfare. Outside the country, Moyurpongki’s already have representatives in more than 60 countries.

Ruhit Sumon has previously participated in various international conferences in India, Malaysia, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, UAE, Thailand, Indonesia and Maldives. He built his career as an event organizer and presenter after graduating in film, television and digital media from Green University.

Munshiganj’s son Ruhit Sumon has worked in various organizations in Bangladesh as well as in international organizations including Save the Children, UNICEF, UN Volunteers.
