A frontline non-governmental organization known as Lovereign Care Foundation headed by Pastor Robinson and Prophetess Vivian Nwachukwu dolls out substantial packages for aged persons, widows and the physically challenged on Thursday 30th December 2021 at Amoji Community in Onicha-Ukwuani Delta State.
The Foundation has continued to put up this annual event tagged “Reaching the Unreached” for over a decade as part of their unrelenting commitments to the eradication of poverty, women empowerment, good health, well-being, and hospitality.
Correspondent averred that over 5,000 persons across the Onicha-Ukwuani Sub-Clan have benefited from the 2021 annual “Reaching the Unreached Project” (RtU) anchored by the Foundation.
During a sermon titled “Lift Your Heads O Yea Gates” by Prophetess Vivian Nwachukwu, she said the idea to commence this project was first revealed to her by God during a ministration in Onicha-Ukwuani where she demonstrated the Two-Fold Ministry of Jesus Christ by preaching and caring for the immediate needs of the poor. “Their expressions and gratitude gave me and my husband the second thought of marking the moment annually”, she hinted.
Prophetess Nwachukwu decried the darkness and endless sorrows faced by the unrepented sinners, urging them to run to Jesus Christ the author and finisher of the soul to be wholely saved by Him alone.
She proclaimed that Jesus is the lifter of burdens and heavy gates, and whatsoever that would be presented to them is the beginning of God’s evidence to lifting their burdens.
Responding to newsmen, Prophetess Nwachukwu noted that “RtU Project” is aimed to empower and put smiles on the faces of people.
“In many communities all over the world, widows can’t find employment, whether through prejudice or lack of skills. Having to find other ways to support themselves, often leads to child labor, prostitution, and other forms of exploitation”, she emphasized.
She maintained that people with disabilities are always disadvantaged, marginalized, and stripped of many opportunities, despite their abilities, they are not recognized but denied access to equal opportunities.
“Therefore it is an annual charity outreach of the Foundation aimed to shower love and care by putting smiles on the faces of the needy especially widows, aged persons, and people with disabilities. The project is designed to make a substantial contribution and alternative provision for the physically challenged and other vulnerable groups and to reach the unreached during the yuletide period in Delta State”, she added.
